Patricia Aoyama has been named chair of the board of trustees of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. Ms. Aoyama previously served as vice chair of the board and chair of the Finance Committee. She retired as a hardware design engineer in 2004. She has been a supporter of many local nonprofits and has served on the boards of Shelter Services for Women, Crane Country Day School and Direct Relief. She earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from San Jose State University. She is an avid golfer and enjoys the outdoors.
