OUT and ABOUT: Barieau re-elected board treasurer
Becky Barieau has been re-elected board treasurer of Santa Ynez Valley People Helping People. A board member for 10 years, she has also served as president. Ms. Barieau, a self-employed certified public accountant, is the controller at Foxen Vineyard Inc. She is married to Bill Wathen, co-owner and winemaker of Foxen Vineyard. A Ballard resident for 28 years, Ms. Barieau has been an active volunteer with Santa Barbara Vintners, serving on the board of directors for four years, and the Vintners Foundation, where she has served for eight years, including four as treasurer. She earned a master’s degree in business administration from UC Berkeley. She has two children: daughter Riley and son Bingo.
