OUT and ABOUT: Winick joins art board
Barry Winick has been named a member of the board of trustees of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. A registered architect in California and 10 other states, Mr. Winick is the firm principal of Architects Inc. in Santa Barbara. He was an associate with Peter Marino + Assoc Architects in Manhattan and founded its Santa Barbara office to support projects in the area as well as Los Angeles and San Francisco. He serves on the Arts Advisory Board of Westmont College and is a board member of the Courthouse Legacy Foundation. He formerly served as the chair of the AIA Santa Barbara Chapter and board chair at The Waldorf School of Santa Barbara. He began his career in Boston and has taught courses at Boston Architectural Center.
