SANTA MARIAFire investigators are seeking information on two side-by-side, blue ATVs that were seen leaving last Thursday from the 1500 block of Foxen Canyon Road after a vegetation fire started.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing. The ATVs were seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed headed east at or around the time the fire started and investigators believe the individuals operating the ATVs may have information regarding the cause of the fire, said Capt. Daniel Bertucelli, spokesman for the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
The fire was reported around 1:34 p.m. July 4. It burned 48.2 acres, authorities said.
