The cost for the luncheon is $23 for chamber members and $28 for nonmembers.
The panel will include representatives from the Lompoc Police Department, the Lompoc Fire Department, the city planning department and building administration, the Lompoc Valley Cannabis Association and various Lompoc cannabis industry affiliates.
Reservations may be made by calling 805-736-4567 or at www.lompoc.com.
Last summer, the city of Lompoc issued its first commercial cannabis license. The license enables the holder to have a retail store, smoke lounge, onsite use and delivery. The city has created its own link from its webpage to deal with applications and zoning questions.
Lompoc has not capped the number of recreational or medical cannabis it will allow to operate in the city limits, although zoning laws apply for applicants wishing to open businesses.
The council also voted to allow commercial cannabis testing businesses to operate within the industrial zone.
