As a senior citizen, it is difficult to comprehend what I and many others are encountering now. “Knowledge” is only completed through “wisdom,” using knowledge wisely. And, if we add “experience” to our perspective, wisdom is expanded. The vulgarity, youthful inexperience, and lack of historical precedents by several U.S. House representatives is beyond belief.
One hour of “Dr. Zhivago” should dispel any of this socialist naiveté. If our younger generations buy into this mind-set, they will be creating a future that doesn’t include them. It will be a state for the rulers and politicians, and the minions who carry out their rules.
We shouldn’t forget our past, the many mistakes and the great strides forward, but we shouldn’t live in our past, either. We should forgive, confess and grow, and strive to make the world a better place. We are the most generous, inclusive country in the history of the world. Let’s not work ourselves backwards. God has truly blessed us, so that we can be a blessing to others.
