Roll over, Cindy. Good dog!
The sweet and spunky Chihuahua mix has performed that trick and a few others at Santa Barbara County Animal Services in Goleta.
Cindy, who’s about 12 years old and weighs 7 pounds, is always smiling. She loves to sit in laps and take walks, and she gets along well with other dogs. She is spayed.
Although Cindy is an older dog, she has a lot of life to live and love to give.
To adopt her, call the shelter at 681-4369 or 681-5285. The shelter, 5473 Overpass Road, Goleta, is open 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. weekdays (closed for lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.) and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
Cindy’s adoption is being assisted by K-9 Placement and Assistance League, which offers free behavior training sessions for anyone who adopts a dog from a local shelter or rescue organization. The all-volunteer nonprofit works on providing humane care, homes and advocacy for homeless and abandoned dogs in Santa Barbara County and beyond.
