LOMPOC The Lompoc Police Department is searching for a missing 94-year-old man last seen Thursday afternoon.
Donald Byron Bishop went for a walk around 1 p.m. Thursday and did not return home. Mr. Bishop is known to walk around his house on Laurel Avenue as well as River Park and Beattie Park. He has no medical problems other than forgetfulness and he has been known to fall down while he walks, according to a department news release.
On Friday, police searched areas Mr. Bishop is known to frequent for approximately eight hours.
He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans, dark brown shoes, a white shirt and red suspenders.
Other law enforcement agencies have been notified, police said.
