52 of Santa Barbara passed away on January 28, 2013 after a courageous fight with cancer surrounded by his family as he wanted. Ralph was born July 16, 1960 in Salinas, CA to Barbara Cortez (Lopez) & Enrique (Henry) Rodriguez. He was the sixth in line of ten children. Ralph, known as “Surfer” to family and friends had a real passion for music, dancing, bowling & watching his teams the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Lakers play. He could always be counted on to be the life of the party. He was proud of being from a big family and has always made sure he was there for his family.
He was survived by his: 4 daughters, Rose Ramirez (Gilbert); Robyn Rodriguez (Michael); Rochelle Rodriguez (Jaime); and Larissa Calles; Seven grandchildren: Jay, Enrique, Christian, Leila, Emiliano, Robert and Giovani; Wendy Nomura (Rodriguez) his best friend who was with him to the end, all of Santa Barbara; Mother, Barbara Lopez; Father, Henry Rodriguez & Ralph Visco; his 9 brother and sisters and their spouses, Ruben Rodriguez (Letty); Tommy Rodriguez (Christina); Tina Corral (Danny); Ricky Rodriguez; Anna Rodriguez (Curtis); Gary Rodriguez; Mahra Almanza (Andy); Berta Hernandez (Steve) and Sheri Coronado (Ricardo); and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A celebration of his life will be held Friday, February 8th at Noon, at Goleta Cemetery, with a small reception to be held after the service.
