A K-12 school situated next to the Mission Creek between Mission Santa Barbara and Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History — will hold its 12th annual Carnival & Music Festival from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 5th. The free-admission event will feature the school’s jazz band and other live performances. Those looking for extra fun can purchase a $14 wristband, which will grant unlimited access to boardwalk games, bouncy houses, face painting, a climbing wall, henna tattoos and Santa Barbara Museum of Art activity. Pizza, popcorn, cotton candy, beer, wine and frozen treat can satiate emerging thirst and hunger. There will also be a raffle, with prizes that include a Disneyland Park Hopper family pack.The proceeds from the Carnival support Garden Street Academy’s Scholarship Fund.
