Westmont College students will perform “The Government Inspector” Friday through Oct. 26 at the college’s Porter Theatre, 955 La Paz Road, Montecito.
Curtain for the comedy rises at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and Oct. 24-26.
The satirical play focuses on a small Russian village that learns of a secret, undercover government inspector coming for a surprise visit. When panic arises because of a case of a mistaken identity, the village spirals into hysteria, disarray and greed.
