The 5th Annual Santa Barbara Sea Glass & Oceans Festival will take place from Sept. 14-15 at the Earl Warren Showgrounds, the festival announced in a Wednesday news release.
The festival will feature “works of artisans inspired by the sea,” and offers “hands-on workshops, and gives attendees an opportunity to celebrate and learn more about their own saltwater treasures,” according to the news release. Other highlights include a treasure contest and the ability to have sea glass expert Mary T. McCarthy identify attendee’s “special finds.”
The festival will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 14 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 15. Tickets will cost $5 for Sept. 15 and $7 for Sept. 14. There is an early bird admission for Sept. 14 that costs $15, while a two-day pass will cost $10. Parking is $5.
