ISLA VISTA — A magnitude 3.3 earthquake was reported off the coast of Isla Vista Tuesday morning.
The 8:15 a.m. quake’s epicenter was about eight miles west of I.V., at a depth of about a half mile, according to a report from the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake was reported by nearly 375 people.
Weak shaking was felt in the Santa Barbara area. Residents in Goleta and Lompoc reported light shaking in their areas, according to the USGS.
No damage was reported.
