The California Citizens Compensation Commission (CCCC) last week voted unanimously to give Gov. Gavin Newson and state lawmakers a 4 percent pay increase. Commission Chairman Thomas Dalzell said it was only fair.
Fair for whom? The governor and several lawmakers are millionaires. What about the fact that California has one-third of America’s welfare recipients, the highest homeless population (135,000) and 22 percent of America’s homeless? And to top it off, L.A. and San Francisco are riddled with crime, drugs, homelessness and illegals.
Who is looking out for average Americans, Rep. Salud Carbajal and state Sen. Hannah-Beth Jackson?
