Becky passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Wednesday, Feb. 6th, 2013. She leaves behind four sons, two sisters, a brother, two grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, and her husband.
Early on in her teaching career, she and her husband made a life-long decision that she would dedicate her entire life to being a full time home-maker raising her children. She did an absolutely wonderful job at that. Becky unconditionally loved her entire family and friends. She was compassionate, kind, gentle, and soft-spoken. All who knew her found her to be a genuine true friend.
She also dearly loved nature, whether it was pampering her cats or feeding all of the birds in her yard. Amazingly, her elusive favorite songbird paid a lengthy visit to one of her sons and daughter-in-law in her backyard on the afternoon of her passing. Truly God sent!
We all dearly love you Becky. You have left such a big void in all of our lives. Godspeed and we will all see you again.
Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at Christ the King Episcopal Church at 5073 Hollister Ave. in Goleta. Arrangements entrusted to Welch-Ryce-Haider Funeral Chapels.
