Winter is finally here, and Florence and the Machine got to take part in it, with “Jenny of Oldstones” being featured on the final season of “Game of Thrones,” the hit HBO series that has the entertainment world on the edge of its seat. Florence was personally approached by the show’s creators, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, to record the song that ran during the credits of the season’s second show. Florence released her fourth album, “High As Hope,” in 2018 and is touring the world in 2019, including headlining Governors Ball in New York, as well as stops in London, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Las Vegas, Atlanta and Miami, amongst others. The new album has received critical acclaim as some of Florence’s best work to date. When: May 12-13, 7 p.m.; Where: Santa Barbara Bowl; Tickets: www.axs.com or 962-7411
