A trio of singer/songwriters will take to the SOhO stage Tuesday night starting at 7 p.m., with an eclectic mix that will include reggae, jazz, harmony from Maz Karandish, preceded by the influences of Janis Joplin via Cheyenne Skye and Tracy Chapman via the night’s opener, Moni. Karandish isn’t just a vocalist, he’s a multi-instrumentalist that has spent nearly his entire life learning world music, including the traditions behind each. Meanwhile, Skye is a unique mix of love ballads and energetic stomp-along songs, blending romance and humor effortlessly.
