Boyband 98 Degrees is bringing its latest headlining tour to the Chumash Casino Resort on December 6. Formed in 1996 by Jeff Timmons, Justin Jeffre, and brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, the quartet released its eponymous debut album in 1997, which went gold and contained the hit song “Invisible Man.” Their 1998 follow-up sold even more units, going multi-platinum and spawning hit singles like “Because of You,” “I Do (Cherish You)” and “The Hardest Thing.” Two years after releasing its fourth record “Revelation” at the turn of the millennium, the band began a decade-long hiatus in 2002 that allowed its members to pursue solo efforts. Mr. Timmons and Mr. Jeffre reunited with the Lachey brothers in 2012, a reformation that saw 98 Degrees release its fifth album, “2.0” and tour with Boyz II Men and New Kids on the Block. The band has been touring on and off ever since.
