Identical twins, Jared and Jonathan Mattson, grew up in San Diego and both earned Master’s degrees in music at UC Irvine, ultimately forming a psych-jazz group in 2003, releasing their first album in 2009. They’ve made a name for themselves with collaborations with pro skaters Tommy Guerrero, Money Mark (Beastie Boys) and Farmer Dave (Kurt Vile). Now on their eighth record, “Paradise,” the album actually features vocals for the first time. Where: SOhO; When: 9 p.m., today; Tickets: $15-$18; Information: sohosb.com or 962-7776
