VANDENBERG The Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce and Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce are inviting members of the public to the State of Vandenberg Air Force Base luncheon, scheduled for 12 p.m. on March 23 at the Pacific Coast Club on the base.
The address will be delivered by Col. Anthony Mastalir, Commander of the 30th Space Wing and Western Launch and Test Range of Vandenberg Air Force Base. He will highlight the base’s accomplishments of 2019 and discuss the upcoming changes in 2020, including an update on the introduction of the United States Space Force, the multiple commercial space companies that will utilize Vandenberg’s infrastructure and the upcoming launch schedule, according to a news release.
Tickets for the event are $25 for members of the Lompoc Valley, Santa Maria Valley, Buellton and Solvang chambers, and $35 for prospective members. Registration is due by 4 p.m. March 6. Attendees must supply valid driver’s license information and their date of birth at the time of registration.
