SANTA BARBARA The National Weather Service has forecast that a storm will pass through Santa Barbara County Wednesday and Thursday but rainfall rates are not expected to exceed the thresholds for causing debris flows in wildfire burn scars.
The storm is expected to drop one-half to 1 inch of rain Wednesday and a half-inch on Thursday. Chance of rain is 100 percent on Wednesday, declining to 80 percent Wednesday night and 60 percent on Thursday. The storm is expected to bring strong winds. Scattered showers may continue into Friday.
The National Weather Service and Santa Barbara County officials are monitoring the storm.
