Portions of De la Vina Street will be closed next week as work continues on the Mission Street pavement project.
The street will be closed daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between Los Olivos and Mission streets. Mission Street and businesses in the area will remain open during construction, according to a news release.
The construction will expedite utility relocations and construction of curb sidewalks, officials said. Drivers are advised to use an alternate route and expect delays and detours.
“Local access for residents and businesses will be maintained to the extent possible during construction hours,” the news release states. “Potential delays and temporary interruptions in accessing driveways should be expected.”
