SANTA BARBARA Portions of Mission Street will be temporarily closed beginning today for the installation of a new traffic signal conduit.
From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, Mission Street between Chapala and State Streets will be closed, according to city officials.
From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, access to Castillo Street from both sides of Mission Street will be closed. Mission Street will remain open.
From 7 a.m to 3 p.m. Saturday, Mission Street will be closed from Castillo to De la Vina streets.Detours will be provided during the closures. For more updates on the project, visit www.santabarbaraca.gov/missionstreetpaving.
