The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred Wednesday afternoon at a business in Isla Vista.
At approximately 4:28 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a robbery that occurred in the 900 block of Embarcadero Del Mar. The suspect was described as a Latino man in his late 20s or early 30s who was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
The suspect was armed and took an undisclosed amount of money from the register of the business and was last seen running towards Del Playa Drive, Raquel Zick, sheriff’s spokeswoman, said in a news release.
