SANTA BARBARA The Santa Barbara Police Department is looking for five men accused of a strong-arm robbery Saturday morning in the 300 block of East Haley Street.
The robbery was reported around 11:30 a.m. at Pacto Jeweler, 316 E. Haley St. Five suspects, described as black male adults who were wearing masks, entered the store and “used force” to rob the jeweler, said Anthony Wagner, police spokesman.
It was unclear whether a weapon was used, police said.
The store was open for business and several people were inside when the robbery occurred, Mr. Wagner said.
Police are looking for video surveillance and conducting witness interviews.
The suspects fled the store with an undisclosed amount of product and cash.
