The final 10 contestants for Teen Star have been announced, with a pair of familiar faces among those vying for the competition’s 11th champion.
All 10 finalists are currently in high school, including one freshman.
Here are the finalists:
- Andie Bronstad, San Marcos, 10th
- Katy Caballero, San Marcos, 10th
- Lauren Cantin, Santa Barbara, 11th
- Bridget DeVine, Santa Barbara, 11th
- Meghan Downing, San Marcos, 12th
- Dawson Fuss, Cate School, 10th
- Jericho Guron, Cabrillo, 12th
- Audrey Harmand, Dos Pueblos, 9th
- Aidan Juan, San Marcos, 10th
- Madeleine Thomas, San Marcos, 11th
Two alternates were named as well, with home-schooled 9th grader Sofia Guerra and La Colina Jr. High 7th grader Josh Hahs waiting in the wings if one of the finalists cannot participate.
The competition will be held at 7 p.m. on Feb. 22 at the Arlington Theatre.
