Richard Camp has joined the Ojai Performing Arts Theater’s board of directors as artistic director. Mr. Camp knows this role well, having previously served as the Theater’s artistic director, where his play Bless Your Heart enjoyed a critically and financially successful world premiere.
Mr. Camp’s other playwriting credits include Diamonds, at New York’s Circle in the Square Theatre, Cuckoo Bird at New York’s Vortex Theatre, Waiting for Garbo at LA’s Colony Studio Theatre, stagings of Credo throughout LA.
Apart from his work on the stage, Mr. Camp has also written a wide range of television shows in nearly every genre and is a three-time Emmy nominee, as well as Emmy winner.
Mr. Camp’s directing credits include two madcap farces at the OACT, Black Comedy and See How They Run, Zero Hour, On Golden Pond, 33 Variations and Night Must Fall.
