Three people were injured in a head-on collision Friday morning on State Route 154 about a quarter mile east of the entrance to Lake Cachuma, authorities said.
Santa Barbara County Fire Department crews were dispatched at 8:41 a.m. They found a minivan with major front-end damage and multiple airbags deployed, and a pickup truck on its side, according to fire officials.
The driver of the minivan, a woman whose identity was withheld, suffered moderate injuries. She was transported by ground ambulance to the entrance of Lake Cachuma before being airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. The passenger in the van, described as a minor female, suffered minor injuries and was transported via ground ambulance to Cottage.
The driver of the truck, an adult male, suffered minor injuries. He was treated on scene and declined further treatment, authorities said.
Both sides of the 154 were closed for a time following the collision.
The Buellton-area California Highway Patrol is investigating.
