BUELLTON Ticket sales are now open for the 38th annual Santa Barbara Vintners Festival, scheduled for 1 to 4 p.m. May 2 at the Rancho Sisquoc Winery in the Santa Maria Valley.
Attendees are invited to enjoy new release wines from more than 70 participating member wineries, tastings from more than 30 food purveyors, live music, wine and culinary demonstrations and local artisans. Tickets also include a silent auction and free parking, according to a news release.
Tickets range from $25 for designated drivers or those under 21 to $75 for general admission. Early entry tickets are $100 and will commence at noon on May 2, officials said.
A Vintners Visa can be added to orders for a special package price of $115 for general admission packages and $140 for early entry admission packages. For attendees without a designated driver, bus transportation tickets are available from Santa Maria, Solvang, Buellton, Lompoc and Santa Barbara at a cost of $30 each.
All grand tasting tickets are available on site the day of the event and online at www.sbvintnersweekend.com. Attendees are encouraged to buy early, as several ticket options sell out in advance each year.
The Vintners Visa Wine Country Tasting Pass offers complimentary wine tasting at your choice of 12 participating tasting rooms from April 30 to May 4. More than 40 wineries and tasting rooms participate in the program.
