GOLETA Those wondering what a train derailment would look like in Santa Barbara County can find out Oct. 26, when the Community Emergency Response Team will be holding a drill. CERT graduates will utilize their skills to deal with the emergency, and volunteer victims will be able to learn how CERT works during such a derailment. The event provides CERT volunteers with in-field training for emergency response training and volunteer victims with a glimpse of what CERT classes teach.
