Two people were injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash Tuesday morning on Highway 101 near Vista Point north of Goleta, authorities said.
Santa Barbara County Fire Department crews were dispatched to the area around 8:10 a.m. Arriving units found a vehicle that had rolled several times on the northbound side of the highway. Crews removed the two occupants from the vehicle. One person suffered major injuries and the other suffered moderate injuries, said Capt. Nikki Stevens, fire spokesman.
Both patients were transported by ground ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. The No. 1 northbound lane was closed for a time following the crash.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating.
