At the age of 10, Tyler Henry began to receive mental images that allowed him to communicate with the “other side” — including the foretelling of his own grandmother’s death.
While some question the validity of a clairvoyant, Henry’s results have spoken for themselves, working with major Hollywood actors both for his popular “Hollywood Medium” TV show on E!, or in one-on-one situations.
Henry has worked with the likes of Jim Parsons, Chrissy Metz, Megan Fox and RuPaul — providing incredible insight and details that have seemingly made believers out of many skeptics, including Hollywood stars Tom Arnold and Dr. Drew, according to Henry’s website.
His two-night stop at the Chumash Casino is part of his first live tour, which he says is part of him sharing “life lessons I’ve learned from the departed.” The show will feature live readings and audience Q&A, but also dives deep into how his gift allows him to communicate with the other side, and the impact it has on his own life.
Henry says that his main focus in utilizing his unique gift is to help people through the grieving process, as many times people have unanswered questions or are looking for a way to say goodbye.
Henry grew up in a small California town — Hanford — where he cultivated his gift by doing reading on his classmates, intriguing him to consider it as a career. Henry finished high school early and started taking college classes in order to become a nurse, following his calling of helping people.
He continued to “read” people with private readings at a local bookstore. His name began to spread, with multiple celebrities seeking him out for readings — ultimately leading him to his TV show that airs at 8 p.m. on Thursdays.
Henry prides himself on his comforting style, not using his gift for pomp and circumstance, but trying to rationally help people through difficult times.
And while he does have a live tour and TV show, his book, “Between Two Worlds,” has given him yet another platform to not only help his own brand grow, but also showcase how he manages his gift.
