Tyler Henry, the Hollywood Medium, performed his live show “Live Lessons I’ve Learned From the Departed” Sunday at the Chumash Casino Resort.
The 23-year-old internationally acclaimed medium explained his unique gift of clairvoyance and showed clips from episodes of E! Entertainment’s “Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry.”
He also took questions from the audience that his mother, Theresa Koelewyn, read aloud.
Mr Henry spoke about filming in 2016 with actor Alan Thicke, whom he warned about his heart. He said Mr Thicke “was a skeptic.” The “Growing Pains” actor and Carpinteria resident died following a heart attack on Dec. 16, 2016, several months after Mr. Henry’s reading.
The sold-out Samala concert auditorium was filled with fans from across the state.
One woman even mentioned that she was from Mr. Henry’s hometown of Hanford, in California’s Central Valley.
During the group readings Mr Henry would channel details about a departed family member, then the audience member to whom these facts resonated would come to one of the two microphones set up in the middle of the room.
Attendants were equipped with tissues as some of the audience members who received readings became very emotional.
Mr. Tyler would consistentiy tap into very personal, and in some cases, sensitive issues that kept the audience in awe. The evening was also filmed.
