LOMPOC A vehicle crashed through a brick wall and into an occupied home early Friday, causing water and gas leak damage and structural damage, authorities said.
The crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. in the 1500 block of East Laurel Avenue. The driver, who was the lone occupant, was not injured and neither were the residents, said Battalion Chief Brian Federmann, spokesman for the Lompoc City Fire Department.
Fire crews were on scene for four hours mitigating hazards and securing the home. A building official was called to the scene to assess the structural damage, Battalion Chief Federmann said.
