Marie passed away peacefully, on January 14, 2014.
She moved from Hollywood, Florida in 1975 to Santa Barbara, after her parents passed away. Marie had been caring for her parents. She was employed by Robinson’s Department Store for several years, as a retail sales representative, in the Fine China Department. She also had her California Real Estate License and was employed in that capacity for several years. Her last days were spent in a very comfortable, loving environment, at the Valle Verde Retirement Facility in Santa Barbara.
Marie is survived by her sister Anne B.Casale and her husband Louis, of Lake Ronkonkoma, New York; Ursula Capuozzi of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Rosemarie Jemas of West Orange, New Jersey and her husband William.
Marie is recently predeceased by her sister Dolores, and by her other sisters; Yolanda Pedulla and Elvira Rizzo, and brother Angelo Vucola.
A briefser vice will be held in the Activities Room of Valle Verde Retirement Facility, 900 Calle de Los Amigos, Santa Barbara, California (805) 883-4000, on Friday, January 24th at 1:00PM. All friends, neighbors and ex Co-workers are invited.
A more formal service will be held in New Jersey, for the entire family, shortly thereafter, when her ashes will be placed in her designated burial site.
