Our beloved Beth passed away Wednesday, January 15th, 2014 surrounded by her family. The daughter of Clyde and Marian Lyons, she will be forever remembered as ‘Sister’ to her brothers Jeff, Alan, and Bill; the sister they loved, laughed with, and above all protected. She will be remembered as ‘Wife’ by her husband Bill, who will cherish the memories of their family parties in Orange County, dune buggy rides in the desert, cruise to Alaska, and trips to Carmel. She will be remembered as ‘Mom’ by Bill, Jeff, and in loving memory, Lara Beth. As a mother, she knew no limit to self-sacrifice, love, and devotion when it came to her children. She will be remembered as ‘Nana’ by her beloved grandchildren Sabrina, Siena, Julia, and Alexander, who filled her heart with so many precious moments. Beth will be remembered as ‘Mrs. Wagner’, a teacher who brought a passion for learning to the classroom while helping students discover their own unique talents. She went above and beyond in every way. We will celebrate Beth’s life during a vigil Monday, January 20th, 2014 at 7pm, with Mass to be held Tuesday, January 21st, 2014 at 10am. Both services will be held at St. Raphael’s Church 5444 Hollister Avenue, Santa Barbara, CA 93111.
