Clara Theresa Calles Duran Waldeck (Rocky) age 80 of Storm Lake, Iowa died June 13, 2013.
Clara was born Aug. 12, 1932 in Santa Barbara, Ca. the daughter of Geronimo M. Calles and Teresa Martinez Calles.
Born and raised in Santa Barbara and gratuated from Santa Barbara High in 1950. She moved to Riverside, Ca. in the mid 1950s with Gilbert Duran and raised their children.
Clara enjoyed reading, dancing, and was a true Dodger fan. Family and friends were very important to her. Clara will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Patricia (Bryan) Hartzell Grandaughter Julia Duran, Brothers Tony (Mary) Calles, Gilbert (Leandra) Calles, Sister Isabel Leon, extended family and many friends.
Clara was preceded in death by her mother and father, Teresa Martinez Calles and Geronimo Calles, her second husband Lester “Red” Waldeck, son Mark Duran and Brother Henry Calles.
Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.
