MONTECITO Westmont College, the private Christian liberal arts college nestled at the foot of Santa Ynez Mountains, announced its recent rankings Tuesday.
The school ranks 117th on U.S. News & World Report’s “National Liberal Arts Colleges” list, tying for the spot with six other institutions: Susquehanna University, Lycoming College, Linfield College, Drew University, College of Idaho and Austin College.
Westmont placed 138th on U.S. News’ “Social Mobility” list, tying with nine other schools.
The Times Higher Education listed Westmont as 4th on its “Best Staff Interaction” list. Westmont shared the spot with Haverford Colleg.
Westmont placed 189th in the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Rankings, gaining 50 spots in the WSJ rankings since last year and 75 spots since the rankings began in 2017.
