Born to Dr. Frank and Lillian Whitacre in Peking, China on August 26, 1940 went to be with the Lord April 6, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife Tami Whitacre, his brother Fred, his sister-in-law Mary Anne, nephew Mike, niece Paige, sister-in-law Stephanie Kuna, nephew Jonathan Salomon, Dr. Michael and Marissa Mullens his niece and Godchild and their two sons Sean and Connor.
Private service was held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Tuesday, April 9th. His ashes will be placed at the Los Angeles National Cemetery. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. We will miss you dearly. ‘Til we see you again face to face in heaven.
