Alberta Isabel Willson, 93, passed away on April 13, 2019. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was born June 23, 1925 in Los Banos, California, the third daughter of Albert and Mabel Hildreth. Albert attended Los Banos High School and was an avid athlete. She married her childhood sweetheart, Rea Willson Sr. on December 7, 1944. They moved to Santa Barbara, CA after World War II where they raised their four children. They celebrated 71 years of marriage before Rea’s passing in 2016.
Alberta was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Gwen and Maxine; her husband; and her daughter, Judy Ann Willson. She is survived by her children Rea Willson Jr. and Judy; Kathy Singer and Alan; Marianne Michaud; and her grandchildren: Michael Willson and Jessica; Christine Willson; David Singer and Sara Singer; Gillian Michaud and Chloe Michaud. A rosary will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 6:00 PM at Welch-Ryce-Haider Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Chapel on Friday, April 26th at 10:00 AM.
