LOMPOC The Lompoc City Council will consider approval of a comprehensive update to the Lompoc zoning code on Aug. 6, the city announced in a news release Tuesday.
“The purpose of the city’s zoning code is to implement the General Plan and provide regulations that protect and promote the public health, safety, comfort, convenience, prosperity, and general welfare of the people in Lompoc,” the news release states.
The City Council will review recommendations from the Planning Commission and staff recommendations while taking public comment.
